I joined the team in 2023 and have since held a variety of leadership positions within the team.

This year I was fortunate to be elected as the Team Leader and am excited to work with a new group of people, as AUMT strive for excellence with the exciting upcoming development of our new line of electric vehicles.

I look forward this year to planning the future of the team, while I oversee the development of ADL25e.”

Hamish Trehearne

CHIEF ENGINEER

"As Chief Engineer, I oversee the design, development and manufacture of ADL25E, setting and managing the design direction and priorities of the vehicle. I started with the team in 2021, previously being structures leader in 2022. I’m incredibly excited for the potential of our 2025 vehicle, which is pushing evolutions on all areas of our EV platform that has been in development since 2017."

"As the Operations Engineer, I manage and implement all workshop and trackside logistics, ensuring efficient timelines and transport of the car is maintained. I joined the team in 2019, where I was a member within the vehicle dynamics subsystem and I am excited for the year to come in the development of our 2025 contender."

"In my role as Human Resources
manager, I have the privilege to work
closely alongside the leadership team
and the wider member base. This ranges
from sorting out individual member
concerns, all the way to helping
coordinate sponsored events with big
corporations like Red Bull, giving me an
extremely unique perspective into the
inner workings of the team. For example,
a major part of my role for this year was
the recruitment of new members for the
2025 season"
